About McDonalds and Rhetoric
Any industry, particularly fast food must glorify its product in order to appeal to the mainstream audience, this is done through endorsements, unrealistic expectations as well as imagery. Using a technique originating from ancient Greece, rhetoric, an educated mind is able to pick apart the methods used by these giants in order to unveil the underlying messages that these advertisements contain. Using rhetoric, I shall attempt to highlight the true intentions of the McDonalds corporation in order to understand the human condition, specifically, the difference between moral and amoral methods. Only facts and reputable sources will be used in order to convey a sense of credibility as well as provide a full understanding of the underlying themes present in the McDonalds company advertising.
